Find your way around

Transcript

  1. This is Keypoint. When you sign in, you land on your day: every job you have today, in order, with the hours down the side.
  2. Each job shows the address, the client, the service, and whether the agreement is signed.
  3. The week runs along the top. Pick any day to see what’s booked.
  4. Down the right is what needs you: jobs waiting on a signature, and work that hasn’t been sent yet.
  5. Your booking page link lives here too. Clients book from it, and the job lands on your day by itself.
  6. Open Jobs to see every job the business has, from booked to paid.
  7. Filter by stage to see what’s booked, signed, sent, or paid.
  8. The last column says what each job is waiting on, so nothing sits forgotten.
  9. Open a job, and everything about it is on one page.
  10. The booking, the agreement, the report, lab samples, delivery, and the invoice each have a tab.
  11. Open Calendar to see the week, or the whole month.
  12. Add time off here, or subscribe from Google, Apple, or Outlook, so your jobs show up on your phone’s calendar.
  13. Contacts keeps every client, and the agents who send you work.
  14. Filter to who still owes you, or bring your list in from a spreadsheet.
  15. Templates are your reports.
  16. A template holds both halves of the job: what the phone asks on site, and the report your client receives.
  17. Start from one of the starters, or bring the Word report you already send.
  18. Messages are the emails Keypoint sends for you.
  19. From the booking confirmation to the past-due reminder, each one can be written in your own words.
  20. Owners and admins also get Analytics.
  21. What’s booked, what’s collected, what’s still owed, and anything that needs a person.
  22. And Settings is where the business is set up.
  23. Branding, services, your booking page, the team, and payments. The next tutorial walks through each one.
  24. One last thing. From anywhere, press Control K, or Command K on a Mac.
  25. Type a few letters of an address or a client.
  26. Press Enter, and you’re there. That’s the map of Keypoint.
